Tdap Booster Needed to start 7th Grade Next Year

As of today, there are 63 current 6th grade students without Tdap on file

We still have 63 incoming 7th grade students who have not turned in their Tdap immunization record for the next school year. 

An email went out recently to let those parents know these students will not be allowed to pick up their school schedules or come to school on the first day, August 27th.  

Please turn in the proof of Tdap to the MS office as soon as possible. Your doctor's office can fax the proof to the MS office at 335-3812.

Are you moving away this summer?

If your family is moving out of the area this summer, please contact the MS office to let us know. 

If you are not moving, but plan to enroll your child elsewhere for the upcoming school year, please contact the MS office to let us know.

We would be happy to provide assistance with records for your child's enrollment in a new school.

Parent and Community Volunteers Needed

The SLV Education Foundation is an active 501c3 non-profit organization in need of revitalization, new energy and new leadership. 

Serving all SLV students primarily through various community and fundraising efforts, the Foundation has in the past helped fund such important student programs as class-size reduction. 

The Foundation is now looking for volunteer leaders interested in finding ways to help improve and fund classroom improvement, teacher assistance and after-school/summer activity programs; and even a program to ensure that all students are provided digital tablets and instruction on their use as a part of their education while at SLV.

SLVMS Needs a Boys Soccer Coach for Next Year

SLVMS is looking for someone to serve as our Boys Soccer Coach next year.  The season runs during September and October.  

Tryouts begin on September 3rd.   Practices will be from 3:00-4:30 pm, or sooner if a coach can commit to an earlier time.
